BettrShape respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the BettrShape mobile app, website, subscription services, and related features.

1. Information we collect

Account information: name, email, authentication method, account ID, subscription status, language, country, and support requests.

Profile and personalization: age or date of birth, gender, height, weight, target weight, goals, diet preferences, workout habits, motivation, country, language, and onboarding answers.

Fitness and progress: weight logs, body composition, BMI, calorie targets, protein, steps, exercise minutes, workouts, challenges, timers, and analytics.

Food and nutrition: meal logs, food photos, manual food entries, AI food analysis results, calories, macros, recipes, monthly food plans.

Device and permissions: camera, photo library, microphone, motion, notifications, or activity permissions used to provide app features.

Payment and subscription: handled by Stripe, Apple, or Google Play. We receive subscription status, plan, customer ID, and transaction metadata, but never store full card numbers.

Technical and analytics: device type, OS, app version, IP address, pages viewed, crash logs, and diagnostic information.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide app and website features, personalize nutrition, fitness, and progress guidance, process subscriptions, send service messages, improve reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing

When you use AI powered features, food photos and meal descriptions may be processed by AI service providers to generate analysis. AI outputs may be inaccurate.

Where laws such as GDPR apply, we process information based on contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, or legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We share information with trusted service providers (hosting, database, authentication, payments, analytics, AI processing, email, support). We do not sell personal information.
